Kent Deschamps
Owner
Kent Deschamps has an extensive background in woodworking. He graduated from the Furniture Technician program at Algonquin College, where he learned the technical skills needed to begin his career in woodworking.
Kent spent the following 12 years as a cabinetmaker, refining his skills and learning new techniques to create quality furniture and cabinetry. In addition to his time spent as a cabinet marker, Kent spent several years learning welding and working with various metals, which has inspired him to incorporate metals in his designs.
Kent is creative and has a passion for design, but he is also an out-of-the-box thinker that loves to find new and creative ways to do things. It is this passion and creativity that has lead him to create Prior’s Edge Creations.
At Prior’s Edge, our focus is on creating unique custom live-edge furniture and home décor. Backed by years of experience in woodworking and design, Kent will work with you to bring your vision to life and create a one-of-a-kind piece that highlights the natural beauty of wood.
